Manuel Blesgraaf

Keyboard and piano

Hi! My name is Manuel Blesgraaf. I bought my first keyboard when I was 13 and I haven't stopped playing since. As a late bloomer, by practicing a lot alongside my work, continuing to take piano lessons with different teachers and playing with different line-ups/bands, I finally took the step towards my dream at the age of 29: working exclusively in music.

In 2014, I graduated from the Rotterdam Conservatory (Codarts) and since then I have been teaching at various music schools and online. As a result, I can now also guide other people in their dream of learning to play the piano or keyboard or picking it up again. That gives me great satisfaction. Young/old, beginner/advanced: it doesn't matter. What I like about teaching is that the students really enjoy learning and playing. I feel that students should choose what they want to play themselves; you also choose what you want to learn. The starting point is songs and music that you like, sometimes at the piano, other times working with sounds on the keyboard or the computer (or both), making your own arrangements or even your own original songs or pieces of music, or improvising. Everything is possible.

In addition to teaching, I am also active as a keyboardist/pianist with various backing and cover bands/duos/trios and I write and compose my own music.

Do you want lessons from an enthusiastic, patient teacher who will teach you the tricks of the trade? Then come for a trial lesson!

Kind regards,

Manuel
