De Mini-violin class is a Group lesson for children from ages 4 to 7.The group consists of a maximum of 6 children and the class is 60 minutes, every week.
The lesson book contains 33 lessons and was specially developed for very young violinists.
Special attention is given to
-development of the left hand
-bow hold
-development of sense of rhythm
-ear training
-musical notation
During lessons, the children also sing. Included with the lesson book is a “magic wand”, which is used to teach the bow hold in a fun way. A unique element of this course is the use of colouring pictures to make children familiar with musical notation from the very beginning.
For each lesson there is an information sheet for the parents which explains exactly what is to be practised during the week.
