Toen Alice Boccafogli 8 was, werd zij op de blokfluit verliefd. Ze studeerde summa cum laude af aan het Conservatorio “G. B. Martini”, daarna verhuisde
ze in Nederland waar ze een Bachelor in Oude Muziek en een Master in Muziekpedagogie behaalde aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag bij Daniël Brüggen.
Alice heeft ook zang gestudeerd en specialiseert zich momenteel in Oude Muziek bij bariton Vitali Rozynko en sopraan Sonia Tedla Chebreab.
Naast haar belangrijkste ensembles, Consort Mirabile en duo met barokvioliste Cecilia Baesso, ontketent Alice haar speelsheid en enthousiasme tijdens het
lesgeven. Naast individuele blokfluitlessen is ze ook een gepassioneerde blokfluit ensemble coach. Alice deelt graag haar Bassano-blokfluitconsort (van
Adriana Breukink) met haar studenten.
Alice is ook de maker van de Virtuosi Children Music-programma’s (in het
engels), speciaal bedacht voor kinderen van 1 tot 7 jaar.
Alice Boccafogli fell in love with the recorder when she was 8 years old. She graduated summa cum laude at the Conservatorio “G. B. Martini” then
went on to study in The Netherlands with Daniël Brüggen, where she obtained a Bachelor in Early Music and a Master in Music Pedagogy at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague.
Alice decided also to dedicate herself to solo singing, and she is currently studying with baritone Vitali Rozynko and soprano Sonia Tedla Chebreab.
Next to her main performing projects, Consort Mirabile and a duo with baroque violinist Cecilia Baesso, Alice unleashes her playfulness and enthusiasm when
teaching. Next to individual recorder lessons, she is also a passionate recorder ensembles coach. Alice is happy to share her Bassano consort of recorders (by
Adriana Breukink) with her students.
Alice is also the creator of the Virtuosi Children Music Programs (in English),
especially devised for children 1 to 7 years of age.
