Maria Lewanski (violin)

Maria Lewanski studied violin at the Conservatoire National de Strasbourg (France) and then at the Muzik Akademie in Basel (Switzerland) with Hansheinz Schneeberger. From 1984 – 1992 she was a violin teacher at the École Municipale de Musique of Schiltigheim (France) and from 1992 to 2013 at the Koorenhuis in The Hague.

She has been a violinist with RBO Sinfonia since 1992.
In addition to her activities as a teaching and performing musician, she has been director of the Educational Orchestra Projects Foundation since 2002.
