Andrea Gelcich - viola / violin
Born in the Netherlands in 1999, Andrea's musical journey began at the age of 5 with violin lessons from Lenneke Willems. At the age of 11, he joined the School for Young Talent in The Hague, where he discovered his love for the viola at 14 and continued with viola as his main instrument. Since then, Andrea has won prizes in various competitions.
He completed his Bachelor's degree in Viola at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague with Asdis Valdimarsdottir as his teacher.
Andrea now shares his love for music as a violin and viola teacher at the Muziekacademie Den Haag, where he teaches children aged 5 and older. He adapts his teaching style to each student's needs, creating a supportive learning environment.
Outside of teaching, Andrea plays in various project orchestras and enjoys chamber music.
